Dussault made her Broadway debut in the musical “Do-Re-Mi” in 1960, and went on to star in several other Broadway productions, including “Bajour” and “Side by Side by Sondheim”. She was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in “Do Re Mi”.

On television, Dussault is best known for her role as Kate McArdle on the sitcom “Too Close for Comfort”, which aired from 1980 to 1987. She also appeared in a number of other TV shows, including “The New Dick Van Dyke Show”, “Mad About You”, and “Murder, She Wrote”.
